DIGITAL VIDEO RECORDERS |
 |
With our Pro-Series Digital Recorders you have the option of remote viewing your security camera system from anywhere in the world. Our Rack mount Pro-Series Digital Recorders are a perfect match for businesses that truly want the best that Digital Security has to offer. At Protec we customize each security camera system to fit our clients needs.
Since the images are recorder digitally, evidence is much clearer than the often grainy images recorded by analog systems. Recognition is immediately improved for police, private investigators and management. With digital technology you can also manipulate video and still images to improve clarity even further by adding light to enhance the image, zooming in on frames, etc.
The Vuestar Pro-series DVR is capable of recording from 1-16 surveillance camera at 30 frames per second per camera (approx.) and is easily upgradeable. Multiple DVR’s can be linked together and viewed from a central monitoring station for project requiring more than sixteen surveillance camera. (For full list of features click here). |

LIVE VIEWING AND SPOT (PUBLIC) MONITOR |
 |
The main CCTV screen of your recorder is where all the main options to control your security system is located. It is here where you will pull up your recorded video files, change system settings, and view yoursurveillance cameras. (See ‘viewing on multiple computers” section for more info and options)
When watching your surveillance cameras you can choose from a variety of viewing options. On the main screen you can view one, four, eight, or sixteen cameras at a time. You may also choose a full screen mode so that the picture fills the entire screen without options panel.
You also have the option to have multiple security monitors display these cameras in other areas of your business. For example if you wanted a security guard on another floor to view the cameras we would run a separate wire from your digital recorder’s TV out. You would then choose whichever cameras you wanted to display in real-time on that separate security monitor or TV. If you run that same wire into a distribution/amplifier you will then be able to display your security cameras on multiple TV’s or CCTV monitors throughout your location. (Can also be viewed on separate computers through LAN. See bottom of page)

 REMOTE VIEWING |
 |
Remote viewing is the ability to watch your home or business from another location separate from the Digital Video Recorder (DVR) and security camera system itself. Being able to watch your business or home from anywhere in the world is a great way to keep track of what’s happening while you are away.
Viewing your security camera system remotely from your home or business is simple. All you need is some type of broadband (high-speed) connection at the location you have your (DVR) and security cameras installed. Your cameras plug right into the DVR and your recorder is then plugged into the broadband connection. We then configure your DVR and router, install your remote software, and you’re all set. With the push of a button (literally) you will be watching your home or business from any computer in the world.
The image at the lower right is our customized Pro-Series Remote Video Software for viewing live video over the Network or Internet. Some features include PTZ control (PELCO), saving image snapshots, live remote audio, multiple video quality settings, a variety of screen views and program sizes (resizing, full screen, etc). Multiple sites can be configured in a list to be viewed individually.
Another option of viewing and controlling your security camera system over the Internet or (LAN) is with our Control Center Software. Our Control Center software is an integrated security management system that provides a handy tool to maintain central monitoring station operation. Control Center introduces a comprehensive solution that provides center operators with time efficiency to control networked systems and I/O devices. With Control Center, multiple Pro-Series DVR Systems and I/O devices within a DVR server farm can be managed and maintained efficiently to enhance their monitoring performance and ensure smooth operation. VIEWING ON MULTIPLE MONITORS OR COMPUTERS |
 |
| Vuestar Pro-Series DVR’s can be set up so that owners, mangers, security personnel, etc., can view the system easily over a business network.
I’ll give you an example. We did an installation for a local storage facility in Fresno, Ca. They had two main office entrances that were separated approx. 2000ft from each other. One of the offices oversaw the inside storage facility and the other office oversaw the outside storage facility. The owners wanted to be able to view the video security cameras at each of the two main offices, a separate managers office (at the location), the CEO’s office, as well as the security booth.
First we chose a secure location for the DVR. We then connected the DVR to the router, which was shared with all the computers throughout the facility. We then configured the router and DVR. (Much like the remote viewing process) After that we went to each location they wanted access to view the surveillance system and installed the viewing software on that computer. With a push of a button each individual location had access to view their facility over their networked computers. |
